With a BFA from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, I taught visual arts in the public schools for many years before retiring to my studio in Columbia, SC to be a full-time potter making porcelain tableware.  Years working with children taught me the joy of finding a caterpillar in your salad or having an angry leopard guard your juice.  I strive for pieces that are botanically inspired, lovely to behold, and a joy to use.
